Ballangen Camping

Ballangen Camping is a family campsite in Nordland with a nice and pleasant environment. We have several and varied activities and attractions for both young and old! The campsite was established in 1964 by the Wiik family, and has been successfully run by the family up to and including 2014. The campsite is owned and operated by the Ravn family, with Eilert and Sara as your hosts.

Our philosophy is to drive a nice and family-friendly campsite with varied activities for both big and small campers from home and abroad. The place was named by 2001 by the Norwegian Caravan Club to Norway's best campsite, and has since its inception been a popular holiday destination among adults and children.

Experiences

We have many different activities for both big and small. The pool and water slide tempt many on hot summer days, family and friends can challenge each other to a round of mini golf, and both trampolines and the football / basketball loop are popular among the younger ones. (we do not have a basketball loop). Activities we have are: Dino bikes, mini golf, pool, children's riding a few days a week during the joint holiday, rental of SUP, canoes and boats .. For the very young, the playground and the rabbits are a great pleasure!

The sea around the campsite offers good fishing opportunities, and we have various boats for rent. Along the water there is a nice swimming beach.

From the campsite it is only 40 km to Narvik, where a ride with the mountain lift, shopping and museum can tempt. The road is also not long to Norway's national mountains, Stetind, and beautiful Efjord with its fantastic nature and fine fishing opportunities are close by. Skjomen Golf Course is no further than 30 km from the campsite.

Balloons and surrounding areas are rich in hiking opportunities. Here you can find simple trips that the smallest can participate in, but also more demanding day trips for those talking.
